Rangatahi Open Mic
Calling all rangatahi artists for a cosy, supportive and whānau-friendly open mic!
We have an awesome opportunity for our rangatahi artists to practice their craft in front of whānau and friends at Kāhui St David’s, a beautiful historic venue in Central Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.
We warmly invite artists and performers of all experience levels to showcase your art, make yourself a cup of tea and enjoy Auckland’s up and coming artists!
“There’s not many spaces in Auckland where people come solely to listen to musicians giving it a go, beyond talent, the heart of their sharing, and courage is what makes the evening magic.” - Zak Devey, YANZ Co-Founder
Nau mai, haere mai we look forward to hearing from you!
This Open Mic and venue offers a great creative opportunity for youth and parents who want to be part of an all-inclusive, facilitated, alcohol-free safe environment.
This event is brought to you by Youth Arts New Zealand, Holding Space Aotearoa, & Kāhui St David’s. Funded by CNZ Creative Communities Scheme, Waitematā Local Board, and Youth Arts New Zealand.
