Advocacy is a core part of our mahi at Youth Arts New Zealand; from advising local and central Government to speaking gigs and running social media campaigns showcasing our talented rangatahi. ATEED Youth Working Group

Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) invited YANZ to facilitate a Youth Working Group to advise on their Creative Industries Strategy 2030 - ensuring the strategy included opportunities and frameworks relevant to the development of young creatives. The session was an incredibly valuable insight into the youth creative sector, and we came out with some clear action points for ATEED to take forward in their the development of their Creative Industries Strategy.

Minorca Webinar

Matthew Goldsworthy, CEO of Youth Arts New Zealand, appeared on a live stream for a conversation about his story and the importance of youth creative development in a post-pandemic world.
